Massive demonstrations of youth all over Greece

With the slogan “State and capital are taking away our oxygen, justice will be judged by organising in the street!” Thousands demonstrated in the center of Athens, in the big student rally on Friday, February 7.

Keeping the oath of the new generation that the crime of Tempe will not be covered up, with the voice of demand against silence, for truth and justice, so that there will be no new Tempes, pupils and students flooded the streets of Greece on Friday joined by teachers unions and parents associations.

The rally in Athens became a catapult against the policy that creates new crimes like Tempe in schools, in universities, in the lives of youth, and a clear, message: The new generation does not forget! It will not sit well! The more you deprive us of oxygen, the more the struggle gives us breath for our lives!

We will not stop until all the culprits are punished“, said the president of the Union of Students of Philosophy of Athens University  and pointed out the responsibilities of all the governments that led to the crime, with the “liberalisation” and privatisation of the railways, the responsibilities of the EU, which granted the safety certificate to the trains and participates in the cover-up, the responsibilities of the company, which “makes profits on the bloody rails and the lack of protection measures”. And he made it clear that “vindication will come with our struggles!”

Next stop is the big general strike on 28 February.
