With a huge rally in Athens in front of the parliament and massive strike rallies in dozens of cities the working class of Greece gave a strong response to the anti-workers’ bill of the Government.

Against the attempt of the Government to criminilise the Strike of Metro workers, all metro lines of Athens were stopped and also the strike met great participation, especially in industrial sectors.

The strike rally of Athens also welcomed hundreds of firefighters, who after fighting the wildfires and the floods, they still remain under flexible forms of employment and their contracts expire.

In Thessaloniki, thousands of workers stopped the strike rally in front of the US Consulate with a huge banner to express solidarity with the autoworkers strike in the USA
