On August 6 under the Acropolis of Athens took place the event for the 74th anniversary since the nuclear bombings of the USA against Hiroshima and Nagasaki on August 6 and 9, 1945.

Workers and youth, members of trade unions and popular organizations responded to the call of the Greek Committee for International Detente and Peace (EEDYE) and took part in the anti-imperialist rally. “We are stepping up the fight against war, poverty and new nuclear threats” was the message sent 74 years after the imperialist crime of the USA, at a time when the escalating rivalries between imperialist forces are endangering the peoples.
