The demonstrations were the first nationwide massive actions organized after the end of the restrictive measures and declared “Today we are protesting because we can no longer stand it! Because we have already paid enough! Because we will not pay again “, against the attack of the government and the employers who seek to burden the new economic crisis on workers’ backs.
The demonstration marched to the Embassy of the USA to condemn racist killings and express solidarity with the struggles of the peoples of the US under the slogan “BREATHE! BREAK THE CHAINS OF EXPLOITATION”.
In front of the Embassy the unions painted the words “I CAN’T BREATHE” and a group of protesters raised their hands handcuffed in front of the Embassy. There they “broke” the chains and threw the handcuffs to the Embassy.
