PAME, which represents the class unions of Greece, a member of the WFTU, expresses its Solidarity and support to CGT Commerce et Services of France and all workers of Commerce in France for their strike action on April 8.

The strike called “Strike to Save Lives” is called to protect the Health and the lives of the workers in Commerce, who since the beginning of the pandemic of COVID-19, are working non-stop without any measures of protection.

The super-market owners and the Government of France, as in Greece and in other countries, sacrifice the lives of the workers for the profits.

No worker must be sacrificed for the profits of the multinationals!
