PAME Solidarity with Metalworkers Strike in Turkey

Δημοσιεύτηκε στις

PAME, a member of the WFTU in Greece, expresses its solidarity with the strike on 5 February by the Turkish metalworkrs and their union Birlesik Metal-Is who continue their struggle for a collective bargaining agreement with dignity.

The government of Turkey serving the industry threatens to declare the strike illegal, but the workers have decided to continue the fight against any ban.

As in Greece, where employers have long sought civil justice to declare strikes illegal, so in Turkey workers have a common enemy, the monopolies and their governments.

The workers we have our own unity, our own class internationalist solidarity, our own needs against the business groups.

The class unions in Greece, PAME stand by your side, and we express our solidarity with your Strike on 5 February and your fair fight.
