PAME (All Workers Militant Front) expresses its condolences to the workers and the people of Italy, to the families of the victims of the destructive earthquake of August 24.

Since the first hours after the earthquake PAME is in communication with the trade union organizations of Italy to support in any way needed those affected.

The workers of Greece and Italy have bitter experience on how natural phenomena become causes of disaster, loss of lives, with main victim the workers and the people. This is because the bourgeois governments do not have as their priority the protection of the lives, earthquake protection measures and civil protection, of the workers and the people.

The class trade union movement of Greece, PAME, will continue being at the side of the people and the workers of Italy during these difficult times.
