Thousands of workers from every sector, pensioners, women, students, unemployed responded to the call of PAME, PASEVE, OGE and MAS and demonstrated on Tuesday afternoon, 18/2, in the centre of Athens for free medical care. They denounced the measures of the government that close health units of EOPPY (the largest social-security fund), hospitals, that abolish provisions. They demanded that no unit of primary healthcare close, on the contrary that they must be expanded, modernized, and that permanent staff must be hired and  free services provided to all.
