PAME (All Workers Militant Front) that represents the class oriented trade union movement of Greece expresses its solidarity to the workers of the COCA-COLA factories in Germany who are on strike demanding a collective contract for better wages.
The example of the Coca-Cola workers proves that the German workers experience the same antilabour demands of the employers, as it happens in Greece. The Coca Cola Co has imposed wage cuts under the threat that the alternative would be lay offs, and today demands even more flexible working relations.
Life itself has proven that submitting to the demands of the capitalists, only makes workers more vulnerable to the next demands.
The only choice, the workers of the world have is not to accept any sacrifices for the profits of the monopolies.
We must strengthen our trade unions, in a militant, class direction. We must fight for what we need today, full time, steady jobs.
In this struggle, the strikers of the Coca-Cola factories in Germany must know that the class trade union movement of Greece will be on their side.
