The new issue of the newspaper “PANERGATIKI” has been released, featuring rich material from workers’ struggles in Greece and internationally.
At the center of this edition is the historic dockworkers’ strike on February 6, which took place in 20 ports across the Mediterranean and in 5 countries. It sent a powerful message against the war economy and war preparations under the slogan: “Dockworkers do not work for war.”
A special place is given to the massive strike rallies marking three years since the crime in Tempi, held across the country. Hundreds of thousands of workers and young people demonstrated, demanding that the premeditated crime not be covered up, that all political and criminal responsibilities be assigned, and that the policy sacrificing human life for profit come to an end.
At the same time, the new issue of “PANERGATIKI” includes a detailed report on the visit of a delegation of PAME to Cuba and its meeting with the Central Organization of Cuban Workers (CTC). The visit reaffirmed the bonds of internationalist solidarity between the workers of the two countries and the steadfast support for the Cuban people in the face of the long-standing criminal blockade and the imperialist aggression of the United States.
