On Friday, March 8, a sea of students flooded the streets of Athens in defense of FREE-PUBLIC Education, against the imposition of Private Universities attempted by the Government of Greece.

Side by side with the students the class unions of all sectors and especially in education, teachers and education staff went on strike and marched together.

The center of Athens became a demonstration for many hours as thousands of youth marched for their rights
