VIDEO “In an Occupied Homeland”- A Chronicle of the PAME Solidarity Mission to Palestine

Published on

October 2025: A delegation of PAME trade unionists travelled to the occupied West Bank. It was the first international trade union visit after the ceasefire agreement in Gaza. The newspaper “Rizospastis” accompanied the delegation to document every step of this solidarity mission.

This chronicle records the five days of PAME’s mission in Ramallah, Tulkarem, Jerusalem and Jericho. It captures the testimonies of people surviving under the occupation imposed by the murderous state of Israel; of people who have become refugees in their own homeland; of workers fighting for their rights and for a free and independent Palestine. And it captures the moment when solidarity ceases to be just a word and becomes an act.

Palestinian refugees and workers told the delegation: “We count on you.” On the dockworkers who block the weapons, on the workers and the people who take to the streets.

This chronicle aims to bring that message across the world.
