PAME expresses its solidarity with CUTV, the working class and the people of Venezuela, who are being tested by the devastating earthquakes that have hit the country.

We extend our condolences to the families of the victims and our support to the injured, the trapped, the workers and the popular families who are suffering in these difficult hours.

The workers of Greece stand by the people of Venezuela, who are called upon to face yet another difficult battle, following the imperialist military intervention of the USA.

Once again, the importance of modern and safe infrastructure and anti-seismic protection for the safeguarding of human life is highlighted. Because it is always the workers and the people who pay the heaviest price for shortages, the inadequacy of state mechanisms and the absence of the necessary protection measures.

We wish strength and courage to the rescue workers, the workers in the health services, the trade unions and all those who, in these hours, are fighting to save lives and support those affected.

In these difficult moments, the great power of people’s solidarity is once again revealed, because it is the people who save the people.
