PAME is in Palestine standing with the Palestinian people for a free and independent Palestine

This is the first international delegation of trade unions to visit the occupied West Bank during this critical and significant period for the future of the Palestinian people.
The program has included so far
a series of meetings in Ramallah with federations, trade unions, as well as with representatives of popular organizations and institutions dealing with prisoners’ issues.
The delegation took part in an extended meeting of the Coordinating Framework of Palestinian Trade Unions and also visited the headquarters of the General Federation of Independent Trade Unions, where it had discussions with representatives from the sectors of Energy, Postal Services, and Private Education Teachers.
Τhe delegation visited the Jalazone refugee camp, north of Ramallah, where over 15,000 people live in suffocating conditions within less than a quarter of a square kilometer.
A meeting was also held with the Minister of Labour of the Palestinian Authority, Inas Al-Atari.
