On Friday, March 7, thousands of people demonstrated again in Athens and all big cities of Greece under the slogan “THEIR PROFITS or OUR LIVES” demanding justice for the victims of Tempe train crash and an end to the barbarity of the system that sacrifices the lives of the many for the profits of the few.

PAME stated
AGAIN THE PEOPLE!
For the third day in a week again, thousands of people, workers, youth, self employed, responding to the call of the trade unions flooded the streets of Athens and dozens of cities across Greece. This struggle has cornered the government.
No matter what they do, no matter how much they slander us, no matter how much they terrorize us, they cannot stop us! Because they too know that our anger is growing even more! And we are not taking a step back.
“We are the voice of all the dead
the crime in Tempe will not be covered up!”
This is the only genuine rebuke to the government of the ND, to all those who have ruled and are ruling the country. The hundreds of thousands who took to the streets again sent a clear message. We will not allow any cover-up of criminal and political responsibilities. We continue and will keep the promise we made two years ago.
The foreseen crime in Tempe is an open wound. The struggle of the trade unions and the parents of the victims has pulled back the curtain covering the rottenness of a policy that they all implemented together and which covers the whole spectrum of our lives.
From the situation in infrastructure, transport, health, education, education, inflation and wages that do not last till the end of the month. To the hundreds of deaths in the workplaces, over 300 in recent years, all so that a handful of business groups can make their profits.
THEIR PROFITS OR OUR LIVES.
THIS POLICY WILL BE OVERTURNED
BY THE ORGANIZED STRUGGLE OF THE PEOPLE!
Justice will be ruled in the streets. We continue with the relatives of the victims. We do not retreat! We organize! We strengthen our trade unions, our organizations, and our associations. There is the strength of the many! The strength of the workers, the strength of the people! In every workplace, in every neighborhood!
