Dear passengers, dear colleagues,

With this statement, we denounce the unacceptable stance of Turkish Airlines management toward its employees.

Using practices that remind us of darker times, they are unilaterally attempting to  ismantle our Collective Agreement, cut wages, and restrict acquired rights. They have even resorted to dismissals – as in the recent case of a colleague – to intimidate us.

This move is not accidental. Turkish Airlines is being used as the “test case” for unraveling  our Collective Agreement, which is one of the few that guarantees fair wages and decent working conditions.

If they think threats and fear will break us, they are mistaken. The unity and solidarity of  all workers is our strength.

Despite all this, we remain at our posts. With professionalism and a smile on our faces, we continue to offer the service you deserve and have come to expect.
