With central slogan “Greece out of NATO – NATO killers go home” the Regional Unions of Patras and Amaliada, along with people’s organizations demonstrated in front of the 117th Air Force Base in Andravida
The Unions gave a militant response to the transformation of Greece into a military base for the murderous purposes of NATO.
In solidarity with the peoples of Palestine and Lebanon the unions demanded to stop the giant NATO air exercise “Ramstein Flag 24”, which began yesterday with the 117th Air Force Base, lasting until October 11. The exercise involves 13 countries of NATO with 140, 4th and 5th generation warplanes, in a general war rehearsal for the region.
