Hands off Cuba!

Solidarity with the Cuban people against the threats of US imperialism

PAME condemns the new threats that are being openly and provocatively directed against the people of Cuba by Trump and the US Secretary of State. Socialist Cuba has long been a target of the United States. These new threats are a continuation of the criminal imperialist military intervention in Venezuela.

The United States is growing more brazen, and its aggression is also being fueled by statements from officials and governments of the EU, allies of the US within NATO, including the Greek government, who repeat the ridiculous pretexts of the US administration and, in practice, justify the attack on Venezuela, winking at escalation through new military interventions against Cuba and the other peoples of the region.

The working class and the trade unions of Greece stand by the side of the Cuban people, who for decades have waged a tremendous struggle to defend the Revolution and their independence against imperialist aggression, standing as an example of dignity, internationalism, and solidarity, a symbol for the struggles of workers all over the world.
