Highlights from the June 24th strike mobilizations in three of the biggest sectors of the economy: Construction, Food & Beverage Manufacturing, and Tourism – Hotels.

Workers demanded Collective Agreements, wage increases, and a 7-hour day, 5-day week, 35-hour workweek.

The sectoral rallies in Athens joined together outside the Ministry of Labour, sending the government and the employers a clear and powerful message of struggle against the “costing” of workers’ lives, against sacrifices for profits, and against the wars of capital.

The trade unions are determined to continue their militant mobilizations throughout the summer, culminating in the big nationwide, people’s rally in Thessaloniki on September 5, at the International Fair.

Give money for wages, Health and Education!
No sacrifice for war and their profits!
