Successful Athens Workers Run for May Day

With great participation, the workers’ – people’s street Run from Haidari to Kaisariani, in Athens took place on Sunday, April 28 in an initiative to honour May Day and the sacrifice of the 200 communist heroes executed by the Nazis on May 1, 1944.

Hundreds of runners covered the 14 kilometers of the route from historical monuments of the working class and the antifascist struggle, while many runners expressed solidarity with Palestinian flags.
